Jennifer Landry
Executive Director/ Founder
Jennifer Landry is a passionate and driven individual with a heart for youth advocacy and mentorship. Originally from Lake Charles, Louisiana, Jennifer moved to Lafayette in 2020 and immediately began making a difference in her community. With a strong desire to help young people reach their full potential, Jennifer began working for a youth advocacy organization where she quickly recognized the need for mentorship.
Along with her husband, Jennifer founded Speaking 2 Inspire thru Experience, a non-profit organization with a mission to bridge the gap between the youth and their potential as well as the communication gap between parents and their children. Through her work with Speaking 2 Inspire thru Experience, Jennifer is committed to empowering young people to achieve their goals and to create meaningful connections between parents and their children.
Jennifer's dedication to mentorship and advocacy is rooted in her belief that every young person deserves the opportunity to succeed and thrive. Her passion for youth empowerment has inspired many in her community and beyond, and she is a shining example of the positive impact that one person can have on the lives of many.

Chad Landry
Co-Founder/Board Vice President
Chad Landry is a Peer Support Specialist, mentor, inspiration/motivation speaker, and youth advocate who has a unique perspective on the importance of mentorship and communication amongst parents and children. Having spent time in both youth and adult incarceration, battled addiction, and lived a life of homelessness, Chad understands the struggles that many young people face today.
Chad is passionate about sharing his story and empowering youth to overcome their obstacles and realize their potential. He believes that mentorship and open communication are crucial in helping young people navigate the challenges of life and find their way to success.
Chad's personal experience with addiction and incarceration has given him a deep understanding of the importance of seeking help and support when facing difficult situations. As a Peer Support Specialist, Chad uses his experience to help others struggling with addiction and mental health issues.
In addition to his work as a Peer Support Specialist, Chad is also an inspiration/motivation speaker and youth advocate. He shares his story with others, in the hopes of encouraging young people to make positive changes in their lives.
Chad is a living testament to the fact that change is possible, and that with hard work and determination, anyone can overcome adversity and achieve their goals. He is committed to making a difference in the lives of young people, and to showing them that they too have the power to change their lives for the better.

Dr. Joshua Edmond
Board President
Josh Edmond is from Lafayette, La. is an entrepreneur, a Life Coach and positive figure in our community. Through the nonprofit organization All4One Foundation, that was founded him and his wife they have been able to build mini libraries across Lafayette and surrounding cities, painted homes for elderly citizens that are on a fixed income, held community luncheons, and has partnered with many other organizations in the area. He is the author of "Inspiration From Failure", " 30 Days of Inspiration" and " Staying Inspired" . He holds the DSCC seat for District 44 - B in Baton Rouge ,works closely with lawmakers and other political people throughout the state of Louisiana for the Democratic Party. He has received many accolades and awards for his community service across the State of Louisiana and is also involved with many organizations where he serves with passion.

Abram J Freeman
Board Advisor
Pastor Abram Freeman is a prominent figure in Lafayette, Louisiana, known for his compassionate heart and dedication to helping those in need. He is the founder and owner of Acts of Love Church, a thriving community of faith that seeks to spread love and kindness throughout the region.
Alongside his church, Pastor Freeman also heads the Acts of Love Nonprofit organization, which provides crucial support to underserved individuals and families. Through the nonprofit, Pastor Freeman has spearheaded initiatives like the Angel Tree toy distribution program, which delivers holiday cheer to children who might otherwise go without.
Pastor Freeman is also a successful entrepreneur, owning and operating both Freemans Driving School and Freemans Insurance. With his experience in the business world, he brings a unique perspective to his work in the church and nonprofit sectors, using his skills to create sustainable solutions to social issues.
In addition to his many accomplishments, Pastor Freeman is also the driving force behind the WHY TRY program in Lafayette, an innovative education initiative designed to empower young people to succeed despite challenging circumstances. Through this program, Pastor Freeman has impacted the lives of countless students, giving them the tools they need to overcome obstacles and reach their full potential.
Overall, Pastor Abram Freeman is a true servant leader, using his talents and resources to make a positive difference in the world around him. His dedication to his community and commitment to spreading love and hope are an inspiration to all who know him.

Cheronda Robinson
Secretary
Cheronda Robinson is a multifaceted professional with a passion for business management, youth advocacy, and creativity. She graduated from Delta Technical College with a degree in business management and later became a certified tax preparer. Cheronda's career has been centered around providing high-quality services and advocating for the youth in her community.
As a youth advocate, Cheronda is actively involved in various youth justice organizations, working to create opportunities and provide resources to help young people reach their full potential. She believes that investing in the youth is investing in the future and is committed to making a positive impact on the lives of those around her.
Cheronda is also the owner and operator of Cheronda's Creations, where she expresses her creativity through her handmade crafts and accessories. Her dedication to her business is a reflection of her unwavering commitment to excellence in everything she does.
Outside of work, Cheronda is a dedicated mother who cherishes spending time with her family. Her passion for the youth and her desire to create a better future for them is what drives her every day.

Dr. Samika Miner
Treasurer
Samika Miner is a Chapter Organizer and Prison Reform Advocate at Voice of the Experienced (VOTE) Lafayette Chapter. She holds a M.S. degree in Human Services with a specialization in Criminal Justice, a B.S. degree in Criminal Justice, and has received her PhD from Walden University with a major in Criminal Justice with specializations in Law & Public Policy and Justice Administration. Ms. Miner was a Direct Care Counselor at a residential treatment center for pre-teens and adolescents. She was also a Field Supervisor/Direct Service Worker at a home health agency. Ms. Miner is a certified STD Prevention Counselor & STD Rapid Tester and enjoys advocating for the human and civil rights of incarcerated and formerly incarcerated people.
